On January 23, TRATOLOW organised a workshop for the inter-ministerial working group to update Albanian participants on the recent developments in carbon pricing in the EU, including the strengthening and extension of the ETS, ETS2 for buildings, road transport and further sectors as well at the establishment of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). Information about ETS MRV requirements including good practice examples and lessons learned were shared as well. This workshop intended to prepare the decision makers for the process of implementing ETS in Albania and to plan for a follow-up workshop of more technical nature.
