This online workshop on October 4th informed participants about reporting requirements on adaptation based on the Energy Union Governance Regulation and provided them with an accompanying training. In addition, participants were introduced to the adaptation reporting linked to adaptation policy development along the adaptation policy cycle, using the different steps of the Adaptation Support Tool (AST).
The workshop participants ranged from beneficiaries from the region, representatives of the European Environment Agency, EU Delegations, EU Member States representatives to national coordinators of the TRATOLOW project and many other stakeholders. Together they explored different topics to gain an understanding of: key elements of adaptation policy making along the AST as well as requirements and practical preparations of reporting. Furthermore, the workshop provided room for the interactive exchange (of experiences) between the participants.
At the end of the workshop, participants had gained deeper understanding of various topics – from the main elements of adaptation policy to the AST, reporting requirements as well as practical tips for the preparations to fulfil these new EU reporting requirements.
